USA / North America

South Haven supports a variety of missions around the country.
  • CHURCH BUILDERS – For over 30 years, South Haven’s men have taken a mission team to help build a church building.  The trip is always the first full week of June.
  • Our SENIOR ADULTS travel to Butler, Illinois twice a year to work at Love Packages. This organization ships recycled church literature to all corners of the world where there are people who can read English.
  • Our YOUTH travels on mission trips once or twice a year. In July 2013 they went to New Jersey to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
  • FAMILY MISSIONS - In July 2013 a large group travelled to Papillion, Nebraska to work with TriPointe Baptist Church, a new church start. Events held included sports camps, a Marketplace style Vacation Bible School, and a block party.
  • NEBRASKA - South Haven helps TriPoint Baptist (Papillion) with their evangelism booth at the Papillion Days fair.

South Haven is taking the gospel to the Ends of the Earth through four strategic partnerships:
  • WESTAFRICA – South Haven is a partnering church in a church planting movement among a previously unreached people group.  Utilizing oral storying and other various evangelistic methods, we are working to make disciples among the indigenous people in two strategic villages who can then carry the gospel to their own people. (For security reasons, we are unable to post detailed information about this partnership.)
  • UGANDA – Partnering with Watoto Church, South Haven has been a part of several building projects to support the orphans ministry in Uganda.  Check this link (www.watoto.com) for more information about Watoto Church and the ministries of Watoto Village.
  • BELARUS – Partnering with The Baptist Home of Missouri, South Haven is involved in the Baptist House of Mercy, a ministry to aging adults in Kobrin, Belarus.
